His Gesture of Comfort

Sometimes, comfort comes from the least expected person, especially, if this person happened to have hurt you at a certain point in your life. One day, fans realized that Versatile Actress (VA) was posting solo photos of her in major activities. The Network Celebrity (NC) with whom she was involved with was no longer in the photos. His absence in her social media accounts resulted in speculation that their controversial relationship was over.

Thus, when news confirmed that the relationship of NC and VA was indeed over, fans were divided. Others felt the end of their relationship was just a matter of time, others thought it was some form of karma, others became sympathetic to VA, who seemed to have been hit by something so sudden, and others just did not care. However, NC and VA remained mum as to the real reason why they had to go separate ways. Both did not show their feelings of resentment publicly and focused on their career to keep the sadness away. However, VA did admit that she had no regrets because she was happy when they were together. Thus, fans did not dwell too much on the breakup as no one was revealing controversial reasons as to why they broke up. “Move on,” seemed to be the mantra of NC and VA.

While things seemed to be moving for VA, as her TV appearances have been well-received, she suffered a major disappointment. While she exerted effort in her project, disappointment came in the lack of a substantial number of people to appreciate her hard work. Although sponsors supported her project, seeing warm bodies makes an essential difference in the life of a performer. Nonetheless, VA is such a trooper and she did not voice out any angst concerning the outcome.

When NC heard that VA was very sad, he decided to visit her. Bringing gifts, NC tried to comfort VA. Although feeling a bit vulnerable, VA welcomed NC. The visit did not only happen once, as NC would drop by again. NC would arrive at a certain time in the afternoon and leave early in the morning. Thus, people who found out about these visits wondered what VA and NC were doing for the entire evening. Well, could they have been playing board games, watching TV, talking? Let’s just say people were not born yesterday. If in the future, reconciliation happens, only a few will be surprised.
