Checking on His Devious Motive

Whenever relationship issues arise, friends reach out to find that shoulder to cry on or vent their frustration in social media. Unfortunately, showbiz personalities often lament the lack of true friends and worse, they cannot just vent on social media as they might risk tarnishing their image with misinterpretation of their followers. Thus, close friends of celebrities are often the ones they have spent most time with in projects and out of town shows. Other celebrities are lucky, as they get to work with their best buddies.

Versatile Talent (VT) and Misunderstood Actor (MA) have been friends for the longest time as they have been working in the same network since they started their careers. Although their network has developed similar but different images for them, both will never compete in roles as they cater to different types of fans. However, seeing VT and MA together in shows is always a welcome treat for the audience.

During one of these out of town shows, VT found MA distraught and bothered with an issue that has been troubling the latter. Being a friend, VT offered to listen to MA, who was hesitant to join the show as this issue has been left to public speculations and he wanted to resolve it as soon as possible. However, when it comes to work, MA can be professional once he chooses to be one. This time, he opted to be professional despite the heaviness in his chest.

Over a round of drinks, MA poured his heart out. With the influence of alcohol, MA became emotional and VT listened sympathetically. One round became two and three, and soon, MA was talking about how he was feeling the pressure of having to get married even though he was not yet ready. VT and MA continued drinking. Finally, one of their non-showbiz companions told them to go back to their rooms as people might start to recognize them.

Once VT and MA were in their room, VT ordered more drinks as he knew MA still wanted to drink. Unfortunately, MA was already a bit noisy as he was still repeating his sad stories and frustrations over how his relationship was moving. After a few minutes, the staff noticed the silence and thought that VT and MA were finally asleep.

Just to assure that both VT and MA were still in the room and had not returned to the bar, one of them checked the room. The designated person (TP) slowly opened the door, as he did not want to startle the two in case they were in the room. With a slight opening, TP got the shock of his life. VT was all over MA and he was kissing the lips of the obviously drunk and passed out MA. Then in a blink, VT had already moved down on MA and giving him the job. MA was still and unresponsive. TP hurriedly left and realized that what he saw could never be unseen.

The next day, VT and MA were up early and both were there usual jolly selves, smiling, chilling, and behaving as though they did not have a night of revelry. The question of MA knowing what VT had done to him that night would never be answered.
