Interesting Personality (IP) has it all: looks, talent, skills, fame, fortune, and even controversy. IP has the perfect combination of all factors that can guarantee a strong following in the entertainment industry. However, something is wrong. As much as IP has tried every possible opportunity to display her talent in acting, singing, hosting, and dancing, her network has yet to keep her exposure constant.

Over the years, IP has starred in a few movies, which were mild hits. Unlike other movie actors, IP did not go through playing several bit roles before becoming the lead. The production outfit trusted that her status alone could deliver. Well, after a couple of movies, no follow up movie was made for her to star in. Then, her network gave her hosting stints, and she was impressive. She looked radiant on stage and was articulate. However, other hosting gigs were given to other talents in the network.

In a project where IP did a cameo role, netizens commented that every teleserye IP was part of usually performed below par in the ratings. When her contract expired, many thought that IP would move to another network, as it seemed that nothing was happening in her career in her present station. However, IP stayed on and her fans looked forward to her next project. When a Someone Close (SC) made a comeback the public hoped that a reunion of sorts would happen. A project with IP and SC has yet to happen, but recent events divulged that all was not well between them.

Such is the irony. While IP seems to have everything, nothing is happening where people thought was her natural “habitat.” So now, IP is allegedly entertaining the idea of leaving and staying somewhere else for good as nothing is happening in her career. IP and her followers should accept the fact that she could find fulfillment in other areas than showbiz. The pressure of having the background and disillusionment in love might have taken its toll on her life’s decisions.
