When someone reaches a certain milestone in his/her life, the expectation is for him/her to remain humble. However, humility is much to be desired as most celebrities who have achieved fame at an instant are easily blinded. Celebrities who have remained humble are often those who have worked hard to achieve their status or who have had to experience an event that pulled them back to earth.

Unfortunately, when Pretty Model (PM) won a title, changes in her attitude became noticeable. At first, people did not believe the rumors that success has gone into her head, as PM would often smile at them. However, PM’s haughty attitude slowly unraveled, and she became selective with her smile. She only chose the people she greeted and ignored others who did not matter. Worse, even her colleagues became associated with her attitude simply because they work in the same team. This perception is unfair to her colleagues as they are not as proud as PM.

This haughtiness should not come as a surprise. During her journey to fame, someone (SO) who supported PM in her quest to win in the local competition aired much disappointment. SO claimed that when he could no longer adhere to the financial requests of PM, she ignored him and did not give him the respect he deserved by virtue of their relation. Her attitude towards him only got worse when she won her title.

As the attitude of PM is getting on the nerves of people who have to work with her, perhaps someone should tell PM that she should step down her pedestal and practice sincere humility when dealing with everyday folks. However, there is a big possibility that such request will only fall on deaf ears.
