Her Grandiose Response

When a celebrity has proven that he/she can have a string of hit movies, have a long list of endorsements, and have constant media appearances, much is still expected from him/her. Thus, when Overexposed Celebrity (OC) staged a major performance a few months ago, expectations were high and great anticipation filled the air as the audience assumed a personal milestone would happen. Unfortunately, the show had no gimmicks except for OC’s performance, and the slow filling up of the venue and the late start of her concert were used to gauge that her event was unsuccessful. However, she did manage to fill the venue and her camp explained that the event made money, such that a repeat was not impossible.
In her years in the business, OC has amassed loyal followers who will defend her against detractors and criticisms. Her loyal followers will discredit information against the quirks of OC. When some people recount unpleasant experiences with OC, expect her fans to explain that OC is not what the negative publicity portrayed her to be. Still, OC is not as friendly as some of her contemporaries and has been known to be snobbish at times.
Later, some producers decided to gamble and bring OC to another area where they hoped she would be able to duplicate the attendance in her initial concert. This time, however, their returns on their investment were not as lucrative. The venue was allegedly not even half of the projected number, and thus, attendance for OC’s out of town concert was quite low. It seemed that the people in the area were not interested to watch OC. Of course, the other reason could be the timing. The concert was scheduled near some major annual events, which are prioritized more than anything else in the area.

Luis Manzano and Angel Locsin Start Planning Wedding

Actor and TV host Luis Manzano shared that he and actress Angel Locsin have started to plan their wedding even if they are not yet engaged.
"Two nights ago we were having a simple dinner out, napag-uusapan namin. In fact, nilalatag pa nga namin kung sino ang pwedeng kumanta sa wedding namin. Nandoon kami sa point na 'yon na we were having dinner with her friends at pati sila, 'yung suot nila ay pinag-uusapan na nila," Manzano said in an interview during the launch of his newest endorsement, Puregold Perks Card, on Friday.
"So kumbaga, things are starting to fall into place. We are starting to have a clearer picture ng gusto namin for the wedding," he added.
When asked if he feels the pressure of proposing to Locsin following the many celebrity engagements and weddings in 2014, Manzano said: "Ang proposal o pagpapakasal ay hindi parang damit na kapag uso eh sumakay ka. Sa akin, when I feel it's the right time... When I feel it's also the right time for her, then I would also set it up na."
The TV host went on to say that he prefers to propose to Locsin privately when the time comes.
"The proposal itself, I would rather have it private. Hindi ko naiisip gawin sa TV. I believe na it's something very personal, something very sacred na mas maganda kung kayo na lang," said Manzano, who shared that Locsin also wants a simple wedding.
Meanwhile, Manzano said that he is still undecided when it comes to joining next year's elections.
"Sabi ko nga, one foot is in yes, one foot is in no. The question is which foot moves to the other side," he said.
Currently, Manzano is gearing up for the return of hit game show "Kapamilya Deal Or No Deal."
