Cutting Through the Rat Race

Don’t look now but it seems like the preference of Shapely Beauty SB is fast a changing, as in desperately changing. No longer as popular and in-demand as she used to be, SB is reportedly clinging on to dear life, badly needing a shot in the arm aka desperate measures.

Heard from the grapevine that SB and an extremely Wealthy Businesswoman WB are now secretly a couple. Has WB who is not exactly a stranger to showbiz now elevated herself as SB’s benefactor? Judging from each other’s past “straight” love affairs, SB and WB’s alleged relationship comes as a big shock to all.

Many believe that SB’s glory days are long gone - a painful truth that’s quite hard for SB to accept, especially when she comes across critics who harshly label her as “di na uso.” It’s true, SB no longer gets offers for acting projects and hosting gigs have stopped coming long time ago. Yet, she can’t afford to stop living and earning for her family’s upkeep and to continue her unfinished business. What to do?

Here comes WB to the rescue – who would have known? The once controversial WB took on a different route this time - literally and figuratively - perhaps to explore more avenues, and rediscover herself in the process. She and SB have been constantly together, initially brought about by their profession, then later, by romance, oh yes!

Showbiz watchers remarked a huge change in the personalities of WB and SB since the day they started getting together. Lately, there are now sparkles, happy, loving faces whenever they’re around each other. Reportedly, the couple are often abroad bonding – dining, shopping – of course courtesy of WB deep pockets. Insiders quipped that SB no longer worries about her finances, as well as her unfinished family project in the province. Reportedly, everything is being well taken care of now. Uh oh..

Those in the know believe that SB and WB, both broken-hearted from not-so-pleasant previous relationships, have changed gears. Is it adventure? Misery loves company? Or friends with benefits? Your take.
