She comes from a privileged family, small wonder why Hot Celebrity HC seems to take things in stride, and acts like a happy-go-lucky girl.

Even before she made it big in showbiz, HC was a big sensation in another community that sent many fans going gaga over her. Back then, HC was an enviable figure in terms of beauty, fame and fortune and her family’s status in society was nothing to scoff at.

Amid her family’s objection, HC entered showbiz to fulfill her dream. It took a while though before she got noticed. And when she finally did, there was no stopping her. Offers for projects came knocking at her door. She had never been busier than ever.

With the help of her management, HC continues to reinvent herself. Her bold and devil-may-care attitude is also a plus.

Whatever HC does is often talked about – her sizzling and sexy pictorials, videos, even her sexy outfits. In showbiz parlance, HC has arrived.

But many observers are not convinced that she will be able to sustain her status. Why? Because the bold and adventurous HC is allegedly into heavy substance abuse as well - a surefire way to destruction.

Reportedly, it’s been HC’s old habit that she can’t get rid of and has been her security blanket for the longest time. She has allegedly become too dependent that she can’t function well without it.

Her recent performance in a major event that got people talking was a case in point. From the grapevine, the substance effect showed in her eyes and energy that night. Oh well…do we still wonder?

It's like it's 1992 all over again and we're eight years old watching Aladdin, obsessing over Jasmine's triple-bumped hair, crushing on Aladdin the hunky diamond in the rough and wishing desperately for a prince to take us on a magic carpet ride even though it's probably super dangerous.

But more than anything, we wanted to have a voice like Lea Salonga, who is and always will be the original (singing) voice of Princess Jasmine. And 22 years later, she can still nail the crap out of "A Whole New World."

Salonga, who won a Tony Award for her role in Miss Saigon, is currently traveling the world with the opera supergroup Il Divo for their "A Musical Affair" tour, and apparently the Oscar-winning song is part of their act. Trust us, "A Whole New World" will still give you goose bumps, thanks in most part to the Filipina beauty and her angelic voice.
