Yahoo Celebrity Awards 2014 organizers announce the full list of winners and awardees of the only fan-driven celebrity event in the country in the awards night held on Friday, July 18 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena, Pasay City.

Yahoo Celebrity Awards (formerly OMG! Awards) honors Philippines’ celebrities from the fields of movies, music, radio and television, who are voted into the top ranks by their fans from across the world.

Kapamilya star Kim Chiu bagged the 'Celebrity of the Year' award and was also named 'Actress of the Year'.

Voting has ended last July 12, at 12nn with over 17.5 million aggregated votes from online and Kakao votes this year.

This year's Celebrity Awards includes 140 nominees across 28 categories including Actress and Actor of the Year and the most coveted award, the Celebrity of the Year.

Yahoo Philippines said that 10 new categories were added such as Celebrity Couple, Celebrity Family, Male and Female Hothletes, Band of the Year, Male and Female ‘Kontrabida’, Emerging Band, Song of the Year and Social Media Star.

Sometime ago, the wedding of Talented Composer TC to one of Showbiz’s Prettiest SP was such welcome news in showbiz. It was the beautiful finale for SP who had struggled from a not so pleasant past. With that marriage, SP became a ‘new’ person, literally and figuratively.

Prior to meeting TC, many were skeptical that SP would ever find a man who would truly love her. Thus the wedding announcement was such a welcome surprise to her friends and followers. At first, showbiz observers hardly believed that the conventional TC, would make such a choice of SP. But obviously, their love prevailed above all and the wedding shamed the skeptics.

Family and loved ones were filled with joy during the wedding especially the bride who believed that TC was truly heaven-sent for her. It was a story of triumph amidst obstacles.

But not all were as impressed and elated for they know TC inside and out. Some observers pointed out that more than SP, the union was allegedly more for TC’s benefit…and how?

At an event with their friends, many were asking the couple about their new life as husband and wife. As expected, being the wife, SP would be first to give her take on hubby TC. Sounding like an innocent young girl, SP excitedly shared how at first she was so surprised with TC’s OCness (obsessive compulsiveness)… like how TC would hate it if there were creases on their bed sheets, pillows, and other trivial stuff. Among others, SP also narrated how TC always wanted their shoes to be always clean and very neatly arranged on the shelves, etc.

To some, SP’s anecdote was already a dead giveaway, because TC was indeed all that… and more. Even long before, people already knew that TC would like to wear his foundation thick and heavy, and that he would prefer no less than a very organized make-up kit or nothing at all. Ironically, TC's make-up kit is a lot prettier and organized than SP’s. Hmmm... can you smell something this time?

At this point, SP is so in awe of TC that she believes no one and nothing can break them apart.

Breaking News: Malaysia Airlines Plane 'Shot Down by Russians' Killing 295 People

The Boeing 777 went down near the Russian border after a surface to air missile allegedly hit it.

Flight MH17 was travelling from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur when it was downed, according to the Interfax News Agency.

Anton Gerashchenko, an adviser to Ukraine's interior minister, posted on Facebook today that everyone onboard MH17 died in the crash.

He wrote: "A civilian airliner travelling from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur has just been shot down by a Buk anti-aircraft system.

"280 passengers and 15 crew have been killed."

The news agency claimed that the Malaysian Airlines passenger plane was shot down by Russian authorities but that has yet to be confirmed.

A Malaysia Airlines official has confirmed the plane has crashed and they are due to make a statement shortly.

The company also tweeted to say that they lost contact with MH17 after it took off from Amsterdam and its last known location was over Ukrainian airspace.

They posted on Twitter: "Malaysia Airlines has lost contact of MH17 from Amsterdam. The last known position was over Ukrainian airspace. More details to follow."

Russian state media reported that the country's defence ministry had labelled accusations they shot down Malaysia Airlines flight MH17 as "absurd".

Russia angrily denied reports it was to blame for the attack on a Ukrainian airforce SU-25 earlier today, which happened just miles from the latest air disaster.

The pilot of the downed fighter jet ejected and was later evacuated by Ukrainian forces, said Kiev sources.

"A military plane from the air force of the Russian Federation carried out a rocket strike on a Ukrainian air force SU-25 as it fulfilled its task over the territory of Ukraine," said Kiev's National Security and Defence Council .

But the Kremlin issued denials, although there are questions as to why commercial jets were still flying in an area of intense fighting between Russia over disputed Ukrainian territory.

The news comes after a Malaysian Airlines plane carrying 239 people went missing in March while on a flight from the Malaysian capital to Beijing.

The country's government said they believed all people onboard MH370 were dead after a lengthy search in the Indian Ocean.

The plane, which had 227 passengers onboard, vanished on March 8 and despite a search costing in excess of £25million no trace of the airline has been found.

It's quite a risk to take especially for Bettina to be involved with the embattled Raymart. Trust me, with Claudine around, it will never be easy.
