When Unceremonious Celebrity (UC) made his exit from his last tv show, his disappearance from the air was met with both relief and sadness. The last station (LS) was relieved with the end of the tv show that had been causing huge losses despite the high profile of UC. However, much to the dismay of the common folk, who are oftentimes unknowingly taken advantage, UC had to take a hiatus. Soon, UC was left with no station and rumors of his squandering ways followed.

During the past months, the former home (FH) of UC doused the rumors that it would be taking UC under its wings again. After all, UC did bring fame and profit to the station both locally and internationally, and thus, taking back UC will only mean the station will look into the business side of having UC and forgetting the reasons why he left.

The loudest story is that UC will make a comeback at LS on one condition, and that is, if he will allegedly produce his own show. This arrangement will mean that UC will have to pay for his airtime, his talents, production crew, and other expenses. Often, the producer has to face most of the problems of a show. Besides, FH still lags behind the other stations in terms of viewership.

However, the latest development is that UC is determined to go back to FH. UC is allegedly using his connections to return to the station. The first in his list of contacts is someone who has an eye for developing talents. Though star former (SF) is also a competent actor, he has a reputation of successfully molding the best artists of FH. Then, another one of the alleged contacts is someone who is highly involved in film production. UC is also hoping that a female executive (FE) will no longer block his attempts as he had a falling out with her former husband.

Where will UC revive his show and hosting gig? Will UC abide by the conditions of LS? Will FH swallow its pride and take back UC? Let’s wait and see if UC will be successful in resurrecting his career.

Manny Pacquiao Approves of Mommy Dionisia's 'Wrecking Ball' Number

Filipino boxing champion Manny Pacquiao approves of the recent trending "Wrecking Ball" number of his mother Dionisia Pacquiao, who is endearingly called in showbiz as Mommy D.

Speaking with ABS-CBN News on Thursday, Pacquiao was asked for his reaction to the popularity of his mom online, following her appearance during his recent fight with Timothy Bradley, and the popular segment on "Gandang Gabi Vice" where she sang the Miley Cyrus hit number.

"Happy naman ako para sa kanya," Pacquiao said. "Siyempre, sa edad niya, kailangan na niyang mag-enjoy at maging masaya sa buhay."

On whether Mommy D's audience can expect her to sing more tunes like "Wrecking Ball," a laughing Pacquiao said, "Ini-encourage ko siyang kumanta ng mga Christian songs!"

Pacquiao also shared his message for Mommy D, as well as his wife, Jinkee, on the occasion of Mother's Day.

"Happy Mother's Day kay Mommy D. Salamat sa pagpapalaki sa amin nang tama," he said. "Salamat sa lahat ng mga mothers nag nag-celebrate ngayon linggo, especially to my wife, Jinkee. I love you very much. I'm very na happy na buo 'yung pamilya namin at masaya kami palagi dahil nandiyan ang Panginoon sa amin."

Last April 27, Pacquiao and Jinkee welcomed their fifth child, Israel, who they only got to bring home last Wednesday. "Si Israel, okay naman. Nasa bahay na. Wala nang kumplikasyon. Lumabas siya kahapon," he said.

Pacquiao praised Jinkee for being a good mother to their five children.

"Para sa asawa kong si Jinkee, salamat sa walang sawang pagmamahal sa amin, sa mga anak niya, at siyempre sa pamilya. Salamat. Kumbaga sa ano, more than a wife, talagang ano siya, walang katulad na mom sa buong mundo!"
