Working within the glitzy and flashy world of show business is anything but magical and easy. The trappings and the perks are there alright, but the working hours, the intrigues, the many things that are dear and vital to you that must be sacrificed - are only a few of the trade off.

If you have no stomach for anything wild, weird and dirty, then showbiz is not for you. At the same time, if discipline, commitment and persistence don't define you, you may kiss showbiz goodbye.

As everyone knows, one of the things that showbiz thrives on is a variety of gossips and intrigues that keep it alive and exciting. When stars get into several relationships all at the same time, when a director loses his cool and throws an ashtray at the lead star during shooting, when a shameless starlet feels entitled to come to the set 8 hours late just because she is a top executive's playmate. Like it or not - those are fodder for gossip.

The many break-ups happening in showbiz have been everything but cordial. No matter how the parties want to keep the details private, amid all the stories behind the split are several versions, depending whom and what you want to believe.

Restless Star RS is supposedly never to be outdone as far as misleading people is concerned. Some even call RS the master of deception. She will always come up with stories to justify herself and put others down. One of those at the center of her target is her Handsome Ex HE.

Not once, twice or thrice has RS been heard talking to people discrediting HE. Allegedly, HE is enjoying life like there's no tomorrow. She was overheard that more than girls, HE belatedly realized that he would rather be with ultra-rich gays where life is less complicated – and far rewarding.

RS went on to say that HE is now in the arms of a very Private Businessman PB whose net worth is as dizzying as her frequent change of partners. According to her, PB wants HE exclusively his alone. Thus he gifted HE with an island in some quiet enclave where they get to spend some rare private time alone. To complete the package, the eccentric PB supposedly bought HE the very hotly-desired luxurious European car.

People who have heard this from RS assumed that more than hurt, she must have been very envious of HE's mind-boggling fortunes.

Sarah Lahbati Case vs GMA7 Dismissed

Saying that actress Sarah Lahbati had no proof she was threatened into signing a contract, the Quezon City Prosecutor’s Office dismissed the grave coercion charge she filed against seven officials and employees of TV network GMA 7, including its chair and chief executive officer Felipe Gozon.

First Assistant City Prosecutor Meynardo Bautista Jr. cleared Gozon, his daughter and GMA Network Films president Anna Teresa Gozon-Abrogar, Lahbati’s handler Michael Uycoco, GMA talent development and management department head Arsenio Baltazar III, Icons Celebrity Marketing (Icons) president Andrew Dee, the company’s talent management division head Shiela Buendia and Alberto Muñoz.

In a 10-page Oct. 22 resolution, Bautista set aside a previous resolution of investigating Prosecutor Edgar Navales who had recommended that the grave coercion charge against Abrogar, Uycoco and Muñoz be filed in court. Bautista said there was not enough evidence that the three had forced Lahbati to sign a comanagement contract with Icons.
