Reputation travels fast these days. When behind-the-scene Service Provider (SP) was starting, her high profile clients gave her a good word. Thus, she eventually built her name in this field, and soon, it seems that every celebrity wanted her service to prep them up in their appearance.

However, the reputation of SP has been questioned as her demands seem to be getting over the top. For instance, a highly coveted International Brand (IB) contacted and invited SP for an international event. IB wanted SP to attend their party, as she has gained a reputation for doing praiseworthy work for her clients.

When IB contacted SP and told her of their plan, SP said she would check if she were free on the day of the event. After looking into her calendar, SP was free on the said date, and eventually, she contacted the representative of IB. The deal was about to be negotiated.

SP requested for top of the line accommodations, front seats to the event itself, a seven-figure fee for appearance, and half a million worth of IB products. In addition, SP wanted a write up declaring her as one of Manila’s leading icons in her field. After hearing the requests of SP, the representative said that they will get in touch with the bosses to relay her requests.

Days passed and the IB representative has not yet called. Finally, SP decided to give the representative a call, but the representative was often unable to get the line. After several attempts, the representative was on the line, and SP asked if the deal was still on. Coldly, the representative replied that IB was no longer interested to invite her. Thus, the deal was off and SP missed an important event that could have boosted her reputation and allowed her to mingle with an international crowd.

Although IB could very well afford the demands of SP, the company was too shocked at the overwhelming attitude of SP. As reputation and news travel fast, the story behind the dropping of SP from the guest list has already been circulating in the fashion scene grapevine, and with the story comes the emphasis that IB was too overwhelmed at the way SP priced herself. Perhaps, the high and mighty attitude of SP is taking its toll already.
