Gerald Anderson vs. Marjorie Barretto: Who Knows Julia Better?
Cleansing Time
Social media accounts these days are not only measurements of a celebrity’s popularity or an outlet of his/her creative or emotional expressions. Brave celebrities use their accounts to engage with followers and sometimes, bashers. Further, advertisers have added a new dimension to the value of a social media account. Exchange deals are common as well, and endorsements already include small, home businesses. Many celebrities have thus used accounts to augment their income.
Lately, followers of a Network Talent (NT) were surprised at changes in her social media. For example, commenting on NT’s Facebook, Instagram, etc... has been limited and the remaining comments are noticeably all positive. The assumption was that NT and her team might be doing a cleansing of her accounts. However, the question of why NT opted for such an option in her social media puzzled her followers.
The rumored story of NT’s moves is deep and personal. Not new to such controversy, NT allegedly got involved in a forbidden relationship. NT entertained a married man. Soon, the wife found out and the word spread. Hence, NT’s social media accounts became grounds for exposing her and the predicament she made for herself. Whether such a story is a rumor does not matter in social media, as some netizens will not give NT the benefit of doubt.

Too Good to be Real
After a failed relationship, the family of Versatile Personality (VP) gave her all the love and support for her to get over the experience. Thus, when VP found her Mr. Forever (MF), her family welcomed him like a son. He would have sleepover privileges, as they were impressed at his attitude. MF was polite and kind, which placed him notches above the previous partners of VP. A parent of VP became close to MF, too.
Just as when things were moving well, the cliché, ‘too good to be true,’ started to manifest. MF was spotted dining with a woman. When VP was told about it, she said it was probably just a business meeting and dismissed the story. Then, her friends saw MF in a popular vacation spot. They called VP to ask if she’s around. VP said she was busy with work. They said that they wanted to verify if she were around before approaching MF.
VP was puzzled because MF told her he was going to another location. VP confronted MF about the sighting and he said it might be a case of mistaken identity. VP again dismissed the story and continued to trust MF despite knowing that her friends have met MF before and surely would not fail in identifying him.
One day, VP was shopping when she saw from afar MF with a woman in the Maternity Section. Her breeding took over and instead of making a scandal, she smiled at MF and the woman. VP walked away. It was over.
VP’s parent learned of the breakup and asked for the reason. Not wanting to hurt her parent, VP said that she and MF had differences and the breakup was bound to happen.
‘Good breeding consists in concealing how much we think of ourselves and how little we think of the other person.’ − Mark Twain
