Questionable Intention

Good deeds are emerging in response to catastrophes, such as typhoons, fires, and pandemic. As the aftermath of such tragedies affects the daily existence of the less fortunate, people who have the means step in to extend help. Often, celebrities take the initiative in coming up with ways to assist the ones who are most affected.
Using their popularity and connections, celebrities can easily raise donations for distribution for victims. Fans and companies are generous when celebrities seek goods or other items that can be of help. The presence of celebrities adds to relieving the sadness and frustration of victims as much as the assistance brought by these famous personalities.
One time, Versatile Performer (VP) and his team organized a relief drive for calamity victims, who were gathered in a school compound. VP has established his identity via television shows, which makes his face familiar. Subsequently, the image he projected brought expectations as well, such as being kind, sincere, and compassionate. When the crowd found out that VP was coming over to give help, they were excited to see him up close and personal. They anticipated seeing VP, but they were disappointed.
The donations coming from VP arrived and the people waited to see him. However, they did not see him at all while they were getting their goods. After the distribution, VP appeared in time for photo opportunities. Hardly did he approach the victims who wanted to see him. According to some people who saw him arrive, VP came at the same time the goods were delivered. Then, he disappeared. Instead of joining the distribution and showing empathy, VP played basketball with his group. While his donation was lauded, his intention became doubtful, as he seemed to be only interested in showing off his effort.

Bullying is a prevalent issue these days and educational institutions have reported various cases in their premises. Although bullying is tolerated by some students out of fear, school measures have empowered others to report to authorities when students use intimidation to get the better of fellow learners.
Bullying is an issue that knows no identity or status. Thus, kids who know they have parents who can stand up for them can often be confident to show who’s more superior than their schoolmates. Sadly, kids of celebrities can fall under victim and bully. Celebrity kids can be made to feel like outcasts because they have famous parents. By contrast, some celebrity kids make use of the clout of their popular parents.
In the case of Popular Entertainer (PE), being called for an appointment by the school’s guidance counselor is no longer surprising. PE has become a familiar face in the guidance office for alleged bullying incidents of PE’s child. When students see PE in the school’s premises, they already have an idea where PE will be going and the reason for the visit.
However, PE is not a poor sport and takes relations with teachers seriously. To lessen the tension and build a better image on behalf of the kid, PE would send gifts to the faculty. The thoughtfulness and generosity soothe whatever mean behavior PE’s child has exhibited in the school. As a parent, PE is known to do everything to show love and support for family.
