Actor JC Santos revealed Thursday that he is now married to his high school crush, Shyleena Herrera, and that he is about to be a father.

On the sidelines of the press conference for his newest movie "On Vodka, Beers, and Regrets" with Bela Padilla, Santos told entertainment reporter Allan Diones that he got married last September 2019.

He declared that 2019 is the "best year" for him because it was when all his dreams were fulfilled.

"Sobrang thankful ako kay Lord na lahat ng dasal ko, lahat ng pangarap ko, natupad last year... Bukod doon sa career ko, 'yung crush ko noong high school na nabasted ako 15 years ago, nagkita kami ulit at hindi ko na siya pinakawalan," Santos said.

"Siyempre nag-hang out kami for a few months," he added. "Sinabi ko na agad sa parents niya na, 'I want to marry your daughter.' Sinabi ko na agad sa kapatid niya. Nalaman na nila and nag-propose ako, and we got married. And now we have a new beautiful blessing."

Santos went on to share that he and his wife are set to welcome their baby girl next month.

When asked why he kept his wedding and baby a secret, the actor replied: "Hindi namin siya nilihim. Wala lang nagtatanong. Ako naman ang social media ko is about work lang."

Relieving Confrontation

While Female Actress (FA) and Ex-Partner (EP) have remained quiet over the reason for their breakup, rumors indicate that differences in beliefs were not the only causes of their separation. Neither of the two spoke of why they parted ways and their fans were left wondering why the used-to-be-sweet partnership could go sour in a short period. It was like waking up one morning and everything is over.

Nonetheless, the grapevine is abuzz about the alleged reason for FA and EP to let each other go. A major breakup reason is cheating and though hard to believe, one them cheated. When FA and EP were still together, their social media posts were about being together and fans were treated to a young couple enjoying what life has to offer. Despite differences in career status, the intrigues did not bother FA and EP. Everyone will get that big break as long as patience and dedication are there.

Underneath the surface, however, was a deep reason for the breakup and the alleged cheating. Given their differences in certain matters, FA started to look for ways to fulfill her needs. Thus, when opportunity came, FA gave in.

At that time, FA and Hunk Actor (HA) were involved in a project, in which they were partnered with each other. The roles called for intimacy and the reel closeness became real. HA is an attractive young man, who appeals to many people. On top of his looks, HA can act, which is a plus value. Modesty aside, FA has also built his fanbase.

Thus, when HA sensed that FA was getting carried away with their intimate scenes, he interpreted her message correctly. Whatever they could not finish in front of the cameras, they took to the privacy of the bedroom. Well, the incident was not a one-time deal. Allegedly, encounters took place. As showbiz is a small world. EP found out how FA has been cheating on him. When he confronted FA, he was shocked at her admission and justification. FA said HA gave her what he could not. Pride is pride and the rest of the confrontation ended their relationship. It’s too late to say sorry.
