Just Another Problem

Network Celebrity (NC) has accumulated followers because of her ability to express her unique ideas and use language to communicate clearly. Her mainstream appearances and social media posts are well-received and fellow celebrities have expressed admiration for her wit. Thus, NC was given a chance to reach a wider audience by being taken in by a highly respected department of a network.

Unexpectedly, the show that hired NC rated and viewers started to tune in. The management was happy and extended the show indefinitely. One day, the management received an anonymous message with a video clip. The video clip shocked the staff who watched it. The scene showed NC intimately indulging with a male, but he was not her known boyfriend. The male partner was allegedly a powerful, good-looking Public Personality (PP). The management did its investigation. The heads were going to let it pass had the video been shot years ago, when NC was still young. However, the tech results showed that the clip was shot recently and confirmed that NC was indeed the female partner.

The sender was demanded money so that the video will not be uploaded. Such scandal would definitely affect the reputation of NC and the network department that took her in. The network has a policy of not paying for such types of scheme as well. To complete the investigation, NC was called to explain her side about the video. Without explaining further, NC allegedly tendered her resignation before she can be dropped. Amidst all the sex scandals hounding various personalities, the department wanted to be spared from one of them tarnishing their reputation. NC saved the department from the embarrassment with her move.

Although NC is still visible in the network, rumors are strong that she might slowly be taken out, so that viewers will not notice any abrupt change and wonder why she suddenly disappeared.
