Junking for Love

After completing a major project, the cast and production team agreed to celebrate their achievement with a trip outside the country. Filming was hard, as they had to work within a specific time to meet their deadline. With focus on their project, the team met the deadline, which was considered a feat and deserving of a reward.

As the budget for free accommodation was limited, the celebrity could only bring his/her manager or assistant to join the entourage. When the team met, whispers were loud, as Lead Performer (LP) was with someone who was not expected to join them, as Constant Companion (CC) was not part of the production. The trip was supposed to be exclusive to the project’s team.

Ever since LP met CC, they became inseparable to the point that followers began to wonder if CC actually has work. CC is always with LP even at her work. As he is not part of showbusiness, his presence can sometimes lead to awkwardness. Some directors often have a strict rule of not bringing anyone who can distract their stars while filming. Unfortunately, the presence of CC with LP seems to be a package deal. She might be uncooperative or not be around at all if CC would be prevented to come over to the set.

Thus, during the bonus trip, LP bumped off her expected companion in favor of CC, which seemed unfair, as her assistant was thought to be with her during her days working on the project. As people know, an actor’s assistant is much needed to take care of the needs of the talent. Assistants have to be on their toes to respond to every request and whim of their celebrity boss. Any chance for an R&R would be most welcome.

Moreover, word reached them that CC is supposed to be working in a certain office. What puzzled the team was that CC was always with LP, which might question if he even shows up to his work like typical employees. However, LP is too much in love with CC and her co-workers might have to accept CC as LP’s shadow.
