Mutual Admiration

Network Personality (NP) seems to have a habit that has not gone unnoticed these days. During an event with his co-stars, NP started asking for the contact numbers of young female talents. The girls became excited, as NP seemed to imply that he was going to contact them. The newbies were on cloud 9, as many girls have been losing sleep just to see NP. Here, NP made the first move to get to know them. The girls waited for that call or text from NP.
Later, NP was heard expressing admiration for a Female Celebrity (FC). Immediately, the friends of FC asked if they could give her number to NP. FC gave a positive answer, as she finds NP cute as well. Excited, FC waited for NP to ring her up.
Weeks later, NP eyed Another Celebrity (AC) and when the public found out, the reaction was priceless. His fans waited for AC to make a move. However, as time passed, the females whose numbers he got all waited for nothing. NP had not even made a simple introductory text to win them over.
When his close friends found out what NP has been doing, they smiled, as they realized NP was not really interested in those celebrities. Instead, his behavior toward Young Actor (YA) in their project was noticeable.
During their breaks, NP and YA would be together in the corner, sharing stories and laughing. Sometimes, YA would bring food to NP, which he appreciated. Together, the two were inseparable, which was good, as this closeness meant for better scenes together. The bonding was ideally supposed to work for the success of the project.
Then, NP even gave YA a cap, which he appreciated as well. While some production people could sense a certain tension between NP and YA, neither one would want to make the first move. The two belong to a network’s roster of top talents and if they decide to behave obviously, such behavior could lead to a scandal. The network cannot afford such a scandal, as damage control can be difficult. So, for now, the two have to be contented with their wholesome interactions on the set.
