After Non-showbiz Personality (NP) let go of her Lover Actor (LA), friends thought that she would shift her attention to non-celebrities or focus on building her business interests. They were wrong. NP was once again enamored with Young Hunk (YH).
The end of the relationship of NP and LA shocked the inner circles. People thought that LA was in love with NP, but in the end, his actions indicated she was just his pawn, or rather, his milking cow. NP provided for the needs of LA to the point that he no longer needed to work. NP has several business interests and supporting the apple of her eye was not a problem until she realized looks can be deceiving. According to one story, NP confirmed her suspicion of LA’s misdeeds when she caught him red-handed. After their intimate moment, NP was washing up and when she stepped out, she saw LA picking out jewelry from her bag. Instead of a bloody confrontation, she became cold toward LA. LA got the message and packed his bags. Lucky for LA, NP decided to avoid further scandal that would drag their discrete relationship out into the public to pick on.
Time passed and NP found herself in a win-win situation. NP had been eyeing YH, who has been in the business, but has not really made a name for himself. NP found out YH was included in a project that was to be managed by a friend. However, YH was just part of the supporting cast. When NP heard the storyline, she recommended that YH should be given a break and elevated to the lead cast. Before the production team could say anything, NP expressed her willingness to invest in the said project.
The project was not a simple, cheap one. The production team had big plans, such as employing highly paid actors and shooting overseas. To be close to YH, NP said finances would not be a problem. However, NP had a strict condition, that is, the agreement should be discrete, as she does not want her family to know she has a liking for YH and investing a huge amount in a risky project. The parties agreed and the project proceeded as planned, except for having dropped First Choice (FC) for the lead part in favor of YH. The project would have been FC’s launching movie, but YH proved to be the better choice.
When the box-office receipts came back, NP was ecstatic. Her return on investment exceeded expectations. Capping her financial achievement was winning over YH’s attention, which mattered most.
