Mean Disposition

One of the challenges facing young talents is balancing education and career. While many opt to choose the latter, a handful of celebrities still attempt to get the best of both worlds. Few have succeeded in obtaining a college diploma while enjoying fame. Talkative Talent (TT) is trying her hand at it.

Aside from aiming for a good spot in the entertainment industry, TT has set her goal to completing a tough course in a high-standard institution (HS). Expectations are high in the program that TT chose and the pressure to belong to the school community is another hurdle TT has to face. HS is also known for snobbish students, which means, regardless of who one is outside the campus, he/she will not have any special treatment or attention coming from the student body. The same thing can be said of its professors who are not easily starstruck.

Thus, TT was awakened to the reality that her popularity does not extend to HS. While she may look familiar, no swarm of fans follows her around. Nonetheless, she gets stares because of how she has her yaya to carry her books and bag as well as to hold an umbrella above her during rainy days. Allegedly, connections enabled her yaya to have an ID that allows her to enter the campus as well.

One time, a student approached TT to ask if she was the one who is seen on television with a Popular Couple (PC).TT was slighted at the mentioning of PC, especially with emphasis on Female Counterpart (FC). Besides, the question meant that the identity of TT hinges on PC. The student further asked if FC is studying in the same campus like her. At this point, TT seized the opportunity.

In reply to the question if FC is studying, TT said that her focus is on her career. Moreover, FC would not be able to cope with the students of HS, who are known to speak in English. FC cannot even speak in straight English with Male Counterpart (MC) and thus, she obviously would not fit in HS. The long reply shocked the student, who only asked a simple question. The student walked away, leaving TT, who was busy putting on makeup.
