Covering up Reality

Marriage is the goal of two individuals who have fallen madly in love with each other. While that seems to be the ideal, certain parties look at marriage as a way to conform to the demands of their image or status. Hence, marriage could be a great camouflage.

When Showbiz Wife (SW) married Eligible Performer (EP), she thought she was going to have a perfect life. After all, EP and SW have known each other for a time and EP publicly admitted their relationship, which is quite rare for showbiz bachelors.

After marriage comes intimate moments and having gotten married, SW thought EP would do his part. Unfortunately, SW confided that she could count with the fingers of one hand the moments when EP was active in bed. SW swore that she has always made sure she was smelling good and ready for some action. However, EP was non-reactive and not interested

One time, SW mustered her guts to ask EP if something was wrong, as his drive for sex seems to be quite low and she even suggested seeking medical help. EP did not take the conversation lightly. He started saying that marriage is not all about sex and intimacy. As a couple, they should spend time getting to know each other in various experiences, such as traveling together and making other memories. Then, EP quoted from the Good Book. SW was so embarrassed that she felt EP had looked at her as a sex maniac.

After the mini lecture, SW recalled a conversation she had with a friend, but she dismissed the story and even asking EP about the truth. According to the story, EP was seen with a fellow performer entering a gay bar after a show overseas. However, during that time, EP said that he was sick and stayed in his room the whole time. SW never bothered to pry about that story.

As EP continues to abstain from his physical duties, SW has started to doubt over EP’s preference. Allegedly, she has his activities monitored to confirm or dispute claims over his identity.
