Blossoming Affair

Handsome Entertainer (HE) was on an overseas assignment when he received wonderful news. Someone Significant (SS) followed him and was staying in a nearby hotel. With this bit of information, HE was inspired and finished his tasks well. The production team was impressed with HE, as he was very professional in his work.

A couple of days later, HE was going to do some action scenes, which required him to run. When he tried to do the scene, the Creative Lead (CL) had to cut the taping and talked to HE. CL said that HE should put in more speed, and asked if something was ailing him. HE said his pelvis hurt, as he slipped in the bathroom the night before. CL said the they will pack up the scene if HE was not up to it. HE refused and said that packing up would entail additional production costs. He just needed a few minutes and he will give his all for the remaining shots. True to his word, HE met the requirements of CL and the day was done as scheduled. The team loved HE for his attitude and they all went to mind their own business.

So, what did happen the night before? Apparently, HE’s pain might have been caused by his excuse.

The previous night, The Roommate (TR) noticed that HE was getting ready to leave their room. HE was wearing a jacket, baseball cap, and shades, even if it was the middle of the night. Curiously, TR asked HE where he was going. HE replied that he was going to meet up with a friend. TR was worried because they were in a foreign land and HE might encounter trouble. He suggested HE should just ask his friend to come over.

No words from TR could stop HE. He replied that he and his friend were going to find the best food in the area. He assured TR that he was going to be fine and be ready for work the next day. TR did not insist and let HE go.

Allegedly, that friend was SS, whom HE had been eyeing for a while, but was quite reluctant. SS did not want any entanglement that might affect his status. However, his presence near HE already sent a message. Thus, the pelvic pain of HE has many implications.

Later, after their tryst, HE was back to his work for the running shot. During a lull, someone was overheard saying that they ran into SS. HE could hear the talk and slowly moved away, as he did not want to be asked if he knows SS. When work was over, HE no longer met with SS, who decided to fly back home after getting his satisfaction. Apparently, CL and the team know nothing about the link between HE and SS, who have been very clandestine so as not to risk their careers.
