A New Beau

People who are familiar with local showbusiness know that not everything the public sees is the truth. Most are done to please fans and the audience, without whom, the whole industry would fail. On the one hand, if a reel couple finally admit they are officially together, cynics would raise doubts. On the other hand, a reel couple who insist nothing is between them will be forced to admit something is going on just to please fans.
Nonetheless, what happens behind the scenes is far interesting than the ones that are revealed via a PR system. Sometimes, fans are indeed sources of rumors and speculations, whereby, where there’s smoke, there’s fire.
When Competent Actor (CA) made a project for a huge network, little did he know that he would become part of a loveteam with his Project Partner (PP). Their matching was met with low expectations, as somehow, they did not seem to have chemistry and the were poles apart in their careers. However, fans came into the picture and soon, CA and PP were the hottest couple on and off cam.
After the project, fans refused to let go of the CA-PP pairing and insisted the two were into something beyond the cameras. The two simply played along, but CA seemed to distance himself from PP later. So, fans started to do their own sleuthing and speculated that CA was seeing a Different Woman (DW).
Connecting CA and DW is far-fetched, as the two are not paired off and neither have they worked together. However, the two are known to be friends over the years and are friendly over social media. Fans are not convinced that CA is still loyal to PP, given that they think he might be pursuing DW quietly.
For now, as CA and PP are between jobs, their fans are quiet but are closely monitoring if the CA and DW affair were indeed true.
