When Network Talent (NT) opened her doors to Rich Businessman (RB), she had no idea that she would have to be careful in her moves later on. Although NT has been in the entertainment industry for several years, she has yet to prove herself in the industry. While she has a pretty face, which makes her appealing, her acting has been criticized for lack of depth. However, such does not matter these days, as NT has RB to back her up.
Of course, NT was not naïve in knowing that RB can be very generous with the women he fancies. Thus, gaining his favor was definitely a plus for NT, as she can always have a strong backup in case her projects become scarce and no one would hire her services anymore. Allegedly, RB has helped put up a house for her in a province, which would not call for speculations being far from the intrigues of the city.
Despite having RB, NT continued to entertain other suitors. NT was fond of One Guy (OG) and she continued to be cordial to him. Then, one day, OG stopped visiting her and she felt like she was ghosted. OG no longer communicated with NT, who was clueless as to what could have happened to him. She was so distraught that she was tempted to ask RB if he could do something, but she thought that was not wise. However, RB knows the existence of OG as he has sources all over town, but he kept quiet.
As time passed, NT thought of breaking ties with RB for her peace of mind but gave up this idea out of fear. NT realized that RB is powerful and might get back at her if he will not agree to her leaving his realm. She feared that she might end up with nothing, as RB might just get back every material thing, house included, from her. Her career is not yet stable and these days, competition is tough. Thus, for the meantime, her best option is to stay put and give in to the demands of RB.
