Must Reassess Her Position

Only when the time is right will Elder Actor (EA) probably tell directly what he found out about the behind-the-scene activities of Talented Newbie (TN). The first time EA met TN, he admired the simplicity and the talent of TN. She seemed unaffected by the on-goings of where she was and all she had was her potential. EA, having been in the entertainment industry for a time, knew that TN could achieve her goal of gaining fame and getting work from the industry. He even promised TN, he would introduce her to Versatile Personality (VP) later on.

As predicted, TN started to make a name for herself and EA kept his promise. The audience noticed that TN and VP have chemistry and the network noticed that the two could be promoted as a pair. Both are equally talented, as they can sing and act. It was a perfect match. EA was happy.

Unfortunately, TN evolved from the simplicity that EA admired. The glitter of the industry was tempting and she gave in. The boys came as well. Allegedly, EN hooked up with hot-tempered boy but all he could offer was a non-committed relationship and fun in the privacy of the bedroom. Then, another young actor came into the picture and they had private moments, too. He might not have been serious with TN, as he has a steady date and their relationship are transcending boundaries.

Walls have ears and the grapevine is alive in the station. EA found out about the exploits of TN and worried. He knows the risk of living a wild lifestyle for the young ones and he has seen many young talents lose their privilege in the network because of giving in to temptation. The dilemma of EA was how to advise TN without her thinking that he already knows about her secrets.

First, EA requested TN to make sure VP is protected from all the intrigues linked to her, which has nothing to do with the boys. Second, EA talked to TN and VP and told them to be honest to fans. If something is wrong, then they should come out with it. Although fans love the sweetness they show in front of the cameras, behavior without the cameras matters. Finally, as someone who is immersed in his faith, EA said that pre-marital sex is not a playful matter and sex should not be a game. TN affirmed the lessons of EA and expressed her agreement with the views of EA. As soon as EA was done, TN hurriedly went to her dressing room, packed her things, and left the building.
