Not Preferred

The appeal of Amiable Actor (AA) has rubbed on to the women he has worked with. Although his name has been linked to several women, AA has remained mum on any relationships he has had. Hence, when AA was paired off with Impressive Talent (IT), their names would always be linked to each other even after their project was over.

When AA needed a partner to bring to an event, he asked IT if she could be his date. IT agreed, as the opportunity of her seeing friends was too good to pass. Besides, being seen with AA would make a statement on other actresses who might be interested in AA.

Then, just as the event was a breath away, IT told AA that she was ill and not well enough to go with him. AA was disappointed but he could not do anything and his absence would be more controversial. AA decided that he would go even if he did not have a date.

When the news that AA might go solo, Female Personality (FP) smiled and realized she had the chance to be the date of AA. FP prepared for the event as well and anticipated AA would give her a ring. Having developed a close relationship with AA, it seemed inevitable that she would be asked. It did not matter if she were just a replacement, as at the very least, she would spend time to be with AA.

Apparently, AA was not thinking in the same line as FP. He had other plans and these ideas were read as his way of not getting IT upset. While FP waited for that invitation, AA was calling other people and she was not part of his life. The time was nearing and the event was going to start. FP was left in limbo and she had to show up even if she were alone.

Soon, AA showed up and FP could only grin at what she saw. AA came with fellow male actors from a project he is doing. He came with an all-male crew and throughout the night, bonded with the boys. FP was left alone, as her hopes of having fun with AA were thwarted, as he preferred the company of fellow male actors.
