Be Cool

When famous personalities find themselves at the center of the joke, their reactions reflect their character. For instance, there are some funny people onstage, but if the joke’s on them outside of their usual comfort zone, they retaliate with actions and words that contrast their image. Other celebrities go to extreme measures and challenge commenters to fistfights or file cases for bullying online. However, not all celebrities get piqued at being the joke’s center.

One time, Sought After host (SA) found himself being made fun of in various social media platforms. Thinking he did nothing wrong, the consequences were far different, as one photo led to memes and another and another until a lot of people joined the fun at SA’s expense. However, SA is a changed man and he shrugged off the incident, especially when fellow celebrities joined the bandwagon.

Ironically, the person who has influenced his change for the better is the one who was so upset with the incident. Upset Performer (UP) cannot be blamed for her reaction. All she wanted was to have a sense of elegance and uniqueness. They were, instead, ridiculed for lack of taste and cultural insensitivity. At first, UP thought everything was coincidental, but when the memes of ordinary things came out, that was when reality set in.

It seems that they’ve been had. SA and UP were charged a hefty fee for the setup, but apparently, not much research on the exclusivity of the concept was done. Thus, they became the end of jokes and for a time, the sense of enjoyment of netizens. Instead of a classy affair like the ones other celebrities had shot for their dream day, hers turned out cheap. In the end, their concept was a disaster, and critics of her undesirable attitude called it payback time.
