Be Good

For someone who started early in the entertainment industry, the challenge is to maintain the interest and motivation to wake up daily to face work with such glee. On the one hand, there are talents waiting for the next project to no avail. On the other hand, there are talents who have projects but seem to be taking these opportunities for granted.

It is in the latter context that Talented Young celebrity (TY) belongs. Touted as one of the promising talents of the network and is even considered next in line to the present set of royal talents, TY has not been behaving well when it comes to her responsibilities as a performer.

Perhaps, TY has been getting too much of the routine that she might have gotten complacent. Such complacency has reached the point of unprofessionalism. TY would allegedly come to rehearsals late and show disinterest. When management heard about the behavior of TY, repercussions were harsh. She was immediately taken out of a group.

The reaction was imminent, as fans started to miss her, but the management was firm on the decision. To appease the reaction, excuses that revolved around being a mismatch with other groupmates were floated. The reason seems to please fans, who have remained loyal. Besides, TY also has a social group in her social media accounts and has enjoyed support from sponsors.

Incidentally, not only was the removal a wake-up call for TY, as Pretty Member (PM) is being hinted as the next to be dropped. Although older, PM is still in the process of making a name for herself. In her case, her lack of zest in performances was noticed. When one appears in front of an audience, one gives her best, but PM was not moving up to par. After the incident with TY, PM realized that no one is indispensable and if she does not perform well, her teammates will definitely upstage her, which will not be good for her image. PM has to work harder these days before her lovelife gets the better of her.
