Avoiding Removal
As the practice of clustering newbies seems successful, the promising once do emerge as natural leaders in front of the cameras. When the network noticed that one member of a group had strong following, hopes were high for Potential Star (PS). Prior to joining his group, PS was already doing shows at smaller malls and slowly amassed fans. Obviously, he was the best choice to be the plus point of the group.
However, the attitude of PS was a nightmare that every manager fears. Given his short time in the business, his negative behavior has started to show and has affected the daily life of his group. Allegedly, management has been receiving complaints of the proud behavior of PS, which has been getting on the nerves of his coworkers. PS would brag about his designer stuff and make a big deal that he is in branded clothes. Humility seems to have been thrown out of the window.
The worst part is that PS has been unprofessional as well. PS would come late for rehearsals, and at certain times, he would not attend. Hence, his tardiness and absences would affect the numbers the group has to perform. Even with warnings, PS did not change. Traffic was always his excuse. Nonetheless, PS could not get away with his antics, as the complaints reached the production. The production head then gave him a final warning.
Allegedly, the production was already deciding on removing PS from his group, which would mean losing exposure to a wider audience. If he goes solo, there is no guarantee that he would get as much exposure as when he is with his peers. One reason that PS might be with such behavior is that he believes he is better and more popular than the rest of the members. Unfortunately, there is truth to that, but being removed from his group will result in more questions that might even affect the production. Lucky for PS, Influential Personality (IP) intervened on his behalf and asked the production not to remove PS. IP truly is powerful, as the production adhered to the request.
