Moving Away

One of the secrets of staying in the entertainment industry is to keep fans hopeful and wondering. By keeping a bit of mystery, celebrities can be interesting and moreover, the more successful ones dare to change. One the one hand, change can be a good move for a celebrity to grow. On the other hand, the loyalty of fans to the initial image of their idols could sometimes be the hindrance to the career development of a celebrity. Ultimately, if a celebrity is stuck in the same roles, burnout might occur and the career will end due to disinterest.

When Evolving Celebrity (EC) found out that she was not part of any project of Network Talent (NT) in the next few months, her reaction was untypical. Instead of being sad, as she seemed to have been sideswiped by the management, EC was gleeful. As her career grew and time spent with NT increased, EC saw with her own eyes her possible future. Although popular, her career might be forever hinged on NT, which would limit her opportunities and prevent her from realizing her potential.

Moreover, EC further concluded that her partnership with NT was just smoke and mirrors. While he projects an image of being chummy with her in front of the camera, nothing will ever develop from their closeness. He allegedly has his own private world that EC is not allowed to enter. EC has gone tired and no longer wanted their fans to be hopeful. Thus, when the time was right, she ended what could have been, but despite that risk, the fans remain hopeful

Nonetheless, EC is slowly moving away from being associated with NT. They are pursuing different shows, projects, and even endorsements. EC wants to be known as an individual talent and not just part of a team-up with NT. She is confident that she can gain her star on her own, which she seems to be doing anyway. Still, some kibitzers like to believe that EC might have been slighted that NT would rather be with his all-male group and rumors on his sexuality would not die down.
