Sometime ago, the production crew of a teleserye had to exert effort whenever they had to tape scenes on location with Pretty Star (PS). Although the project already ended, anecdotes could not seem to be forgotten concerning the odd and unexpected behavior of PS. Contrary to her image onscreen, PS can try one’s patience.

The project was being shot on location, away from the city and presumably in a place where not too many people will gather just to see PS and her co-stars. Fans of PS can sometimes cause delays because they will want to see a glimpse of her. Of course, PS has to show her face especially in the crowd is big, so as not to disrupt any major activity. However, things that are happening inside the house they were shooting in were different. The smiles disappear as soon as PS is away from the public eye.

The call time was for an early evening shoot. Midnight came, and the scenes of PS were still not shot. Thus, the production crew was already uneasy, as they were obviously working on a deadline. Most teleseryes do not have the luxury of having more than enough time between taping and airing. In some cases, the scenes shot for the day are the ones to aired on the following day.

When the crew was asked why PS was still not coming out of her room, someone said that they were waiting for her to get in the mood for her scenes. As it was only a few hours before sunrise, the team was in panic. Delays would mean added expenses on the production side and talent fees as well.

Finally, a couple of hours after midnight, PS comes out and tells the team she wants to have a massage. As no one dared to refuse her request, the production had to scourge nearby places to look for a masseur or anyone who could give PS a massage at that time. The team found a spa, but it was closed. Luckily, someone was sleeping at the spa and agreed to go with the team. PS got her wish, while the team could only sigh, as PS had become a difficult co-worker.
