Just Not What Was Expected

Expectations are often high when fans get up close and personal with celebrities. While the opportunity to meet stars personally is not easy to avail for ordinary persons, the ones who are lucky enough to obtain access only have one goal, and that is, to have a picture with celebrities.

When some fans were able to go to the backstage of an event, they were excited to see that popular loveteam was near. Thus, the fans waved at the couple and called them. Male Partner (MP) waved back to acknowledge them, but Female Celebrity (FC) merely stared at the fans. FC had a straight face and the fans could not tell what her expression was. The chance was right in front of them. The fans motioned to MP if he could come over so they could have a picture with him. MP smiled, stood up, and walked toward them. As soon as FC saw that MP had moved, she stood up as well and walked in the opposite direction. However, she stopped and looked at MP who was already posing with the fans. The fans noticed that FC had the stern look that seemed to say to MP to hurry up and that she was running out of patience.

Even though FC did not say a word, the fans felt her callousness and her unwelcoming attitude toward fans. Going to the backstage meant the group was allowed to enter as security was tight. In other words, the fans were not the unruly ones who would make noise and disrupt whatever was happening. However, FC did not make them feel welcome, much more like members of a family, as she was cold toward them.

While the fans were happy at the attitude of MP, they were still shocked at the treatment of FC. Although there were already rumors on the negative and unfriendly attitude of FC, they came to see the loveteam with an open mind and totally disregarded the story about FC. However, their personal encounter proved the truth in the rumor, and the fans came home disappointed at FC.
