Just Be Confident in His Maneuvers

The limited appearance of Talented Actress (TA) has made her fans wonder why her career seems to have slowed down even though she was among the top actresses her network has been banking on. Ever since the time TA became a household name because of the unexpected reception of her daily soap, all her succeeding projects have done well in ratings. Followers believe that her network should be giving TA more importance. However, things are not that simple.

While the network would be raring to invest in projects for TA, circumstances are making it difficult for TA to be involved in new projects. Alleged Boyfriend (AB) has been making sure that all scripts and storylines pitched to TA will pass through him. AB has set rules, such as no kissing, no bed scenes, and no rape scenes as well. Although such scenes are being done by her contemporaries, AB has expressed his condition.

Surely, TA would rather not have someone like AB indirectly curtail her potential as an actress, as most would want to believe. By contrast, TA seems to love the idea that AB is involved in her career. It does not matter to her if her career and growth as an actress dip, as long as AB shows that he cares for her. TA loves AB so much that she will obey what he says even if it means letting her contemporaries gain much mileage ahead of her.

Despite the seeming interference of AB in the career of TA, no one from the productions teams dare to question AB. Over the past years, AB has moved from nobody to a powerful person in his network. Most of his projects have gained the favor of the audience, which has translated into soaring ratings as well as many endorsements. Hence, AB can actually call the shots for whomever he wants.

Although this attitude of AB can be read as extreme jealousy, TA is not at all bothered and she believes that AB is the man destined to bring her to the altar. Thus, she would simply obey him. As to when that date will be, no one really knows, as TA and AB still have to declare publicly that they are indeed officially an item.
