Repost: Piolo Pascual Reveals Status of His Relationship with Shaina Magdayao

Piolo Pascual admitted that he and Shaina Magdayao have been dating for five years now.

Despite their closeness, Pascual refuses to label whatever the two of them have.

“Mahirap i-label I guess. Whatever it is, I guess we just have to mutually respect everyone involved and not talk more about it... I’ve been with her five years na, exclusively dating, but I know and she knows that we don’t date out of what we have. Nandun kami,” he said.

Pascual said it’s more important that they know that their relationship “is something that we value, something that we treasure and we appreciate.”

In a separate interview, Magdayao said she does not want to rush into a relationship because she wants her next boyfriend to already be the one.

“I’m at a point in my life na I really value the word commitment kaya siguro I’m also taking my time para the next one that comes, whoever that person is, 'yun na 'yon. While waiting, let’s do more productive things like trabaho,” she said.

Asked whether Pascual has the qualities she is looking for in a husband, Magdayao said: “He is a very good person. He’s been a good friend to me. Sa ganung aspeto, hindi ko pa siya masyadong kilala. Kasi for me, masyadong heavy ang husband. Hindi siya random thing lang. Pero kung ideal ba, mabait.”

Pascual and Magdayao were first romantically linked with each other back in 2012 after reportedly getting cozy during the concert tour of "ASAP" in Singapore that year. 

Pascual, however, downplayed the rumors at that time, but described the actress as a "fine lady."
