Ellowe Alviso's said his "charming" face had landed him a number of modeling gigs a few years ago, but his desire to improve it further ended in a disaster following a botched nose job by a supposed beautician.
Speaking to dzMM on Friday, Alviso said he has sued the suspect, Euge Edward Udangan, for destroying his nose and chin.
Alviso said that for his P500 ($10.71) nose job, Udangan injected what the latter claimed was a collagen solution into his nose. Udangan also performed a cleft chin job on Alviso.
After the nose and chin job, Alviso said he got more modeling projects.
Two years later, however, Alviso noticed that his nose and chin got deformed. As a result, he lost all his modeling projects.
When he went to the hospital to have his nose and chin checked, doctors told him the solution injected into his face was a mix of wax, petroleum jelly, and sealant.
He then sought Udangan's help and asked that the latter shoulder at least half of his hospital expenses. However, instead of being helpful, Udangan allegedly threatened to have Alviso killed.
''Minura ako, binantaan ang buhay ko, sinisiraan ko daw siya,'' Alviso said of Udangan, a transgender woman.
(She cursed me and threatened my life. She accused me of tarnishing her reputation.)

Compounding his woes, Alviso said his aunt who helped raise him died around the same time he was confined in the hospital.
And, months later, his stepfather died. This rendered him and his mother homeless as they were kicked out of the house owned by his late stepfather.
No longer able to work as a model, Alviso turned to selling "balut."
Alviso now moonlights as a Halloween character.
''Kapag may mga events sa park, nag-aano ako ng pang Halloween,'' he said. (If there are events at the park, I dress up as if it's Halloween).
Police vowed to help trace Udangan, who now has a warrant of arrest.
