Almost Made the Incorrect Judgment
Naturally, even his colleagues at his network found him interesting and some even admitted that he is their crush candidly. SC was flattered, but he remained humble and he would just flash his sheepish smile. Thus, whenever the network would have corporate shows to promote their projects, SC was always part of the entourage. During one of these events, SC was seated in front as their program showcasing the projects was happening. When Gorgeous Actress (GA) entered the stage and performed her hot dance number, the gaze of SC was fixed on every movement of GA. SC was immediately smitten, but he thought otherwise.
However, after the show, SC and GA mingled with the guests at the post-event party where alcohol was overflowing. Having drunk a little, SC gathered courage and approached GA and congratulated her. Then, GA said that she had always had a crush on him and she would always catch his shows. After more pleasantries, they exchanged numbers. While that should have been the end of the story, it was just the beginning.
A few weeks later, a Non-Showbiz Lady (NL) saw SC at a resort, and immediately made a phone call to His Wife (HW). Yes, SC is married and part of his image that made him attractive is that of an ideal family man. NL called HW and requested if she they could meet at the resort. HW said that SC was at a taping and that she was not there.
As women have their intuition, NL waited to see the company of SC. The following morning, NL spotted a celebrity in the resort. The celebrity had just stepped out of a room. NL pretended and waited. After a few minutes, NL was shocked to see that SC was leaving the same room. Quickly, NL called HW and reported what she had witnessed.
When SC arrived home, he had no idea of the impending disaster. HW confronted him on the lie, that is, he was supposed to be taping at a province, and yet he was seen in a resort east of the city. HW was fuming to the point that she decided to sleep far from SC. Sleeping in separate rooms, the risk of destroying their union was becoming stronger. Finally, SC decided that his liaison with GA was not worth his family. His kids were his world and his only choice was to charm his back to HW and forget about GA.
As the story circulated, the network gave instructions to SC to deny any link with GA. When GA’s name was linked to SC, people were shocked because SC seemed to be a good family man. However, when he thought he could get away with his actions, he failed.
