Justifying the Change in Her Attitude

Since the time Alluring Actress (AA) started her career, watchers knew that she had the talent to make it big in the industry. AA was very talented and every director she worked with did not have problems in motivating her. However, the struggle of AA was real, as the cliché goes. Despite her talent, AA had to work in movies that were in demand that time to build her name.

Because AA was loved by directors and the snobbish cinema critics, she was immediately placed a notch higher than her contemporaries. However, there was one major problem, that is, AA was not commercially viable, and her movies were financial risks. Nonetheless, AA needed work and patiently, she stayed on until she earned respect not only in the cinema, but also in teleseryes.

Thus, actors felt the privilege when they had the opportunity to work with AA. AA was not selfish with her talent and the newbies were able to pick up on her wisdom. AA became the benchmark for talents who were serious in their craft. As time passed, AA did not succumb to the commercialism that the entertainment industry demanded. She stuck to her craft, but became open to the reality that she will only stay if she would exercise flexibility. AA then shifted her image, which proved to be a smart move because her portrayal of most hated characters stuck to the consciousness of viewers.

After countless of movies, AA achieved a very elusive dream. This time, AA truly belonged to her own league, which might take a while before any of her contemporaries would be able to join her. After this event, co-workers of AA noticed a change in her attitude. AA asked for a raise, which was granted to her, as this raise was only befitting for her status. Then, AA allegedly started to arrive late on the set and leave early, using her age as an excuse. Hence, this new attitude started to mess up the schedule of the production. Given the new guidelines for taping, the production had to work with these rules and the attitude of AA. Although food was never a problem before, AA became choosy with the food served during the taping. AA demanded for better food, which she then charged to the production.

The changes in the attitude of AA were bothersome, but the production team could only do so much as AA’s reputation is doing well for her projects. Besides, some even think that it is only now that AA is realizing her worth in the industry and she now has proof to back up her stance. Thus, they just have to live with the new AA and hope that AA will realize that her team prefers to work with the humble and less-diva-like AA.
