Cannot Hide Her True Self

Companies are always on a lookout for the celebrity who can best represent their products. In particular, companies are critical when choosing the person who will endorse their products. Thus, when one is chosen as an image model, that celebrity has surely reached a highlight in his or her career. However, the catch is that the celebrity has to live within a certain standard as long as the contract is enforced. For example, if a celebrity is endorsing brand X, he or she should not be seen with brand Y at any given time. Moreover, if a company espouses values, then the endorser has to be an example.

Association with celebrities is always expected to increase the sales of a product. Consumers get to identify with the endorser, which could explain why they would prefer the endorsed brand to another. When a company chose Feisty Actress (FA) as one of their product models, no one questioned the choice given that FA has a pretty face and exudes a certain level when she projects herself.

For a certain period, FA was the face of a particular product, which had always enjoyed competitive sales among its consumers, who are mostly women. Unfortunately, if stories about FA are to be believed, her image for the product is in stark contrast with her inner being.

During a project with the other endorsers, FA insisted that she should not be with anyone else in the dressing room. Of course, this move created a problem, as everything was already set. Besides, FA, although she might have had some hit projects, is not really that of a big and reliable star. Thus, she was expected to mingle with her fellow artists. FA insisted on her demand and the project was halted for a few minutes.

While FA perhaps thought that everything would be fine despite her prima donna attitude, which seems to be her second skin these days, measures were allegedly taken to make sure FA learns her lesson. Thus, the company dropped her, as simple as that. When pictures of the project emerged, FA was not included at all. However, her fans insisted that the pictures were not final and FA will be included. Months have passed and still, no new photos that included FA were released.
