Her Exhausting Actions

Despite all the teachings and reminders of her elders on taking responsibility, Stubborn Talent (ST) seems to project that she will continue living life to the fullest. Bashers and commenters have not spared the social media accounts of ST with unsolicited and sometimes uncalled for reactions. Sometimes, ST would actually respond to some comments, but most often, ST would just post a cryptic message and let her followers interpret the meaning. Thus, at times, ST gives the impression that she does not care on the repercussions of her behavior in public.

ST is among the young talents who have managed to make names for themselves even though they have the acting genes. When she was starting out, much hope and trust were given to her and her projects proved expectations correct. While she was competent in terms of her skills, her personal life is not admirable, which people attribute to her preference to a freer lifestyle. Some even think that her early start in the entertainment industry might have contributed to her attitude and her rebellious attitude.

Hence, when ST and her New Partner (NP) were seen attending a big event some time ago, onlookers were no longer shocked at the behavior of the couple. Instead of focusing on watching the performers onstage, ST and NP were putting up their own show at the sides. A bit tipsy and holding a cigarette in one hand, ST would kiss and tease NP regardless of the other people in their midst. Although the audience would rather watch the performers, the behavior of ST and NP were distracting.

The behavior of ST contrasts the appeal that her elders have been expressing. At one point, they had hoped that ST would have better sense of responsibility rather than live a Bohemian lifestyle given that her life’s circumstances demand for her to be more mindful of her direction and her future. As age catches up on her, people hope that ST will soon realize that she has to behave and take care of her body better, which means giving up certain bad habits that could affect her health. Lucky for her is that the people close to her have not given up on her and continue to support her.

A career in showbiz does not have a lifetime guarantee. With the emergence of more beautiful, responsible, and competent talents, ST might no longer have the privileged spot that she enjoys in her home station. She should perhaps be reminded that the least she could do to give justice to the family legacy is to live in a way that would make her parents proud, and that includes not living what they went through when they were of the same age.
