The Story Behind Her Attitude

‘Hell hath no fury as a woman scorned,’ may very well describe the situation Veteran Talent (VT) has against Famed Celebrity (FC). Sometime ago, VT had lunch with FC at the latter’s home to become acquainted with each other. Being high profile celebrities and having countless followers, VT and FC talked about every day issues and the fame they both are enjoying.

During their meeting, VT broached the idea of appearing in one of the projects of FC. The proposal was not really about financial matters, as even exposure was not really the concern of VT. However, appearing in the project was more for the prestige of appearing in such a huge undertaking. Besides, VT broached the idea of getting her services, which are highly coveted and highly priced for the usual producers. At the stage of her life, VT could already choose the projects she wants to do, rather than ask for projects from producers.

When the media found out about the desire of VT, reporters even personally interviewed VT. Gamely, VT said that by the time the project of FC commences, she will be at the same location. Thus, there will be no need for additional expenses to move her from her residence to the said location. VT then waited for the go signal of FC for her to be present on the said day.

As the project day grew closer, VT started to worry because FC was not getting in touch with her. Although VT is very reliable and could breeze through any role, she diligently prepares for any role she has to work on. Still, no call was coming from the camp of FC. Finally, VT tried to get in touch with FC, but her efforts were nil. FC was out of reach or could not be disturbed. In short, FC did not at all approve of the idea of getting the services of VT.

VT knows that making her disappointment known to the public would build her image as a sour loser, and thus, she kept silent. As a professional, she knows which battles to fight. Later, VT and FC met again via social media and their meeting was not a pretty site. FC downed the sectors VT supported and thus, paved the way for VT to sort of get back at FC. After sometime, VT started to question statements made by FC and even claims he made. Hence, the past story justifies the present action of VT. What she has been doing was the result of FC’s rejection.
