Cash or Credit?

Veteran Actress VA’s friendship with a much younger and Popular Actress PA dates way back when both did a television series that ran for months. The bond and camaraderie that were formed between them further cemented their friendship and made it stronger. They were so close that at one point, PA even planned a birthday party for VA. Even after the series ended, VA and PA remained and continued their bond.

As PA was about to reach her Life’s Milestone LM, she got VA to be a part of it in a very special way. Touched by PA’s kind gestures, VA wanted to pay back and organized an Exclusive Event EE for her. VA wanted it to be really special gathering for PA and her friends. VA hired A Caterer AC and made a small down payment. AC agreed, confident it wouldn’t have problem collecting since she was VA, supposedly a ‘respected’ actress. On EE day, food was abundant and drinks overflowing – everyone happy, including the star, PA.

After the party, as AC was trying to collect the big balance, VA allegedly told them that she had no cash, thus promised AC that she would pay the full amount after two (2) days. For the second time, AC agreed. Two days after, AC called VA. Lo and behold – VA couldn’t be reached anymore! What a pity for AC. Heard that to this day, VA has not yet paid or even contacted AC for payment of the substantial balance.

Just a word for VA – a fabulous fashion sense is more attractive if coupled with a good credit standing.
