Keeping It Low

Since time immemorial, Diehard Fans DF play a big part in the lives and careers of their idols. People say DF are powerful enough to make or break a celebrity’s career at will. DF’s are so passionate about their devotion to their idols that their lives revolve around them. These (popular) stars enjoy demigod status and as such believe they deserve all the perks and privileges – their fans included.

Unlike those of yesteryears, DF today are willing to spend big money to mount activities for their fans club all for the love of their favorite star. Others go as far as giving their idols expensive gifts like gadgets, home appliances, and the like. Still others mount grand events such as big parties and events for their star just to show how much they love their them – complete with gowns, hotel venue, food, plus the logistics – and that’s no small money. That’s how passionate and generous most of them can get.

Not too long ago, DF of two popular Love Teams LT1 and LT2 have tried much to be friendly and civil to each other not wanting to sow intrigues between their respective teams. But at times, situations can get over board and DF lose control, especially so when their idol’s interest is at stake – thus their resolve to be peaceful is challenged.

Reportedly, things started to heat up when comparisons were made between LT1 and LT2, as in comparing their respective looks, talents, fashion, popularity, summing up their overall personality. Everything would have been pretty normal, but it went to the extremes when even the profiles of each teams’ DF came into the picture. It was never the same since.

The latest incident was more affront which happened at the show of LT2’s Girl G2. Some DF of LT1’s Girl G1 were reportedly caught throwing coins at G2. It was by far the most despicable that G1’s DF can ever do at a rival. Aghast, G2 allegedly reacted strongly, didn’t waste time and reported the incident to Her Manager HM, who in turn immediately brought the matter to network Management Head MH.

At this point, management of both camps are reportedly hoping that the rift will be resolved soon. Well, it should be. After all, this is a no-win match for HM, except of course to keep both camps in the spotlight.
