No Love and Regard for His Movie

Everyone knows how important reputation is. One’s image in a community is what makes or breaks a person. If one is good enough to have established a solid reputation, then half the battle is won. But if you have a bad/questionable one, sooner than later, you will reap what you sow. That is the law of the universe aka karma.

Film Director FD was allegedly very disappointed with his Lead Actor LA in The Movie TM that he just finished. FD complained that LA did not even make any effort to help promote TM considering that it was a big opportunity given to him to be cast in the lead role. FD claimed that unlike other TM stars, LA hardly promoted TM even in his social media accounts. For a lead actor in a movie, LA did not at all look the part, he was just so unexcited and apathetic.

What’s worse, LA did not and refused to attend TM’s premier night, making excuses and alibis like he was busy with his network obligations, shows, etc. In fact, production head pleaded with him but to no avail, as LA proceeded to go abroad for his commitments when he could have squeezed in a day for the premiere night and he would still be okay with his schedules. But LA would hear none of it.

When TM Producer TP was told by FD about LA’s indifference, she reportedly got mad and swore that she will never ever get LA again in her future movies. Indeed, why was LA so uncooperative with TM?

Some insiders had their take on the issue, noting that it was not a case of LA being inconsiderate, as he is a professional worker. It dawned on them that perhaps LA lost interest in TM knowing how shrewd and cunning TP can be when it comes to paying her stars. It is common knowledge that TP pays her talents with checks postdated for a year!

What talent will be inspired? Quite understandable – TP reaps what she sows.
