Missing the Young Entertainer
However, after his weekly show had undergone a major change, the public was expecting YP to be part of the entourage of talents. YP already rehearsed for the pilot episode of the said show, but was pulled out when his management realized YP would not have a solo spot. Then, the network offered YP to do an after series that would show his acting talent and make him visible for the whole week. Again, his management turned it down, as they did not agree with some of the effects in the series.
Now, the fans are in panic as YP as several months have passed since he was seen on television. The network might suddenly lose interest in YP as more talents are emerging, and it might just be a matter of time another talent can do what YP is known for. Worse, the public might forget YP, and he might have a hard time getting back his groove.
While YP belongs to a showbiz royalty, his management should not allow his absence in the local scene to continue. Perhaps, they could throw in some suggestions for his future projects. His showbiz lineage took time and patience to build the name that he is now enjoying. YP should continue to live up to his family’s reputation, and start getting into projects.
“Recognize that throughout this beautiful day, you have an incredible amount of opportunities to move your life into the direction you want it to go.” Steve Maraboli
