Jealous, Self-centered, and Mean?

At the onset of her career, Promising Talent (PT) remained secretive over her love affair with a Distraught Actor (DA). While DA was touted as the next great actor of his generation, PT was being groomed to be another important actress of their network. Sadly, they parted ways, and towards the end, DA proclaimed his love for PT. It was too late. PT had decided to choose her career over DA, and DA was never the same from then on.

Then, PT found love in Athlete Actor (AA), her partner in a soap that was often criticized for its hot scenes, which might not be appropriate for the afternoon viewers. While everyone thought PT and AA were a good match, they suddenly parted ways. For reasons that were never confirmed, both said there was no third party. Perhaps, the selfishness of PT reared its ugly head again, and AA could not stand it.

In one instance, PT wanted to watch a movie with AA, and AA’s younger brother (YB) wanted to watch it as well. When AA picked up PT, her mood changed when she saw YB in the car. During the whole time, PT threw tantrums and acted more like a kid to show she did not like to have YB tag along on their movie date. AA got embarrassed and mad at the way PT acted in front of YB as YB witnessed how bratty she could be. AA even told PT, “What do you want me to do? Leave my brother?”

Recently, PT must in high heavens as Hunk Actor (HA) has proclaimed his desire for her. Some quarters are saying that both PT and HA are an item already. Some fans have even coined a moniker for them. Now, the question is if PT has already learned not to be too self-centered when it comes to her future relationship. On hindsight, the declaration of HA is, hopefully, not a mere press release to drum up interest for their careers and her upcoming series.

Basking in the Wild

Scandals upon scandals have been coming in relentlessly and endlessly the past several weeks. Just as we thought that we have become calloused from all the dizzying and mind-boggling exposes laid before us, just as we thought that nothing can shock us anymore - there came another shocker poppin right from our monitor as we went online early Tuesday morning.

Speechless, stunned, puking, sickening -- those were some of the reactions from a sex video scandal that astounded us all. The private video was purposely done with the consent of the performing parties for whatever reason. How it came about and went viral in just a few hours is anybody’s guess.

There was a male performer MP in missionary doing his act with an attractive, much younger co-worker CW who seemed to reciprocate and enjoyed it to the hilt. The video act was quite long, enough to make the viewer feel a host of emotions: anger, dismay, pity, helplessness – as if they are family members.

Whether MP and CW got carried away by their passion and decided to record their act will definitely curve their collective fate, especially MP’s.

Just how much MP stands to lose in this is incalculable. So much is at stake. The chips are high. His tremendous talent, his legions of fans, his co-workers in his immensely-popular show, the wounded feelings of his family - and above all – his dignity.

Some say he is finished. He is done. Yet, we can never tell. We can only ask.

Mr. MP, where do you go from here?
