TV5 will Not Renew Contract of Willie Revillame

TV5
network is not poised to renew the contract of its talent, Willie
Revilame. The network refused to give Mr.
Revilame his demand of Php90Million talent fee per month for Wowowilie,
TV5's noontime show that stars Revillame as host and producer.
The
talk was finalized last night at a meeting when a top TV5 executive told Mr.
Revilame, "Sorry, we will not renew your contract. The show has terrible
ratings."
Upon
hearing this, it was learned that Willie submitted his resignation
right away to preempt any talks that will come out in media that his
contract was not renewed, and to make it appear that it was he who
resigned way ahead.
With
these developments, the answer to the question which had been hanging
for months now has been finally settled. But there's still one more -
the anxious public wants to know as to what network will Willie bring
his show - or will he?
Earlier,
Ms. Charo Santos - Concio, ABS-CBN's President and CEO belied reports
of Willie's transfer to ABS. She confirmed that the network is not
taking Mr. Revillame back.

Regretful, Now Mulling Transfer

Anxious Host AH's bubbly personality and charisma had won her an
audience in her former network FN. She's a breath of fresh air,
especially in the show that starred a triumvirate that she was a part
of. Hers was an admirable optimism and much energy that she was very
well-known for. As such, she was getting quite a few good projects both
as host and actress.
Through the years however, in the course of her encounters with network people, she came off as not-so-desirable after all. AH annoyed a number of friends and fellow talents, foremost of whom was a close colleague CC. AH had incurred the ire of CC, so deep that to this day had found no closure.
Life went on for AH, and along the way, major decisions had to be made. Not long after, personal and professional milestones took place - and AH was never the same again.
Upon moving to this apparently promising new network PN, everything was rosy for AH. She had projects, she was treated special. But of late, she is reportedly slowly growing dissatisfied --underwhelmed with the very limited amount of work she is given. With this in mind, AH has now been ever-so-subtly appealing to FN, whom she considers her family to take her back. Strangely enough, FN has been turning a deaf ear to her many appeals.
The professional aspect of AH's life is the only thing that seems to be in jeopardy -- a stark contrast to her personal life which is flourishing. Is she now regretting the resignation she made years ago? What is in store for AH in the future? Will we continue to be wowed by her presence inspite of her discontent? Whatever it is, we eagerly await and see if her career will shine as bright as the noontime sun.
