Privileged Star PS has been on the verge of a meltdown for some time now. So many things were not going right for her in almost all aspects of her life. In particular, she is at odds with her loved ones, for the longest time. The headstrong PS just seems to be so lost and confused. The latest blow to her could have been the most painful of them all.

Recently, PS went somewhere far away with a Boyfriend BF hoping to finally meet the parents. The day when BF was supposed to pick up PS from the place where she was staying, BF was so devastated with what he saw, the sight of PS sent jitters down his spine. He found her in a very different state, acting very strange, totally in a different zone.

After the initial shock, BF cancelled the much-awaited meet and greet and without second thoughts, he said to himself, "It's over."

PS did not know what hit her! Only when the effect of the substance had subsided did she realize the impact of what happened. She tried calling up BF to talk things over, but he ignored her. BF's decision was final. PS was stunned - it was so in her face.

It took long before the matter completely settled in her psyche. For a long while, she was in denial. She never knew that the guy she prayed hard for and intended to be the one she would settle down with was
gone - for good. After all the turmoil she had been through, she thought that she had found the one in him. Everyone was excited and happy for the both of them. Then this.

What seems to be troubling PS? Is her enviable background boring her to death? Is the smart in her unable to cope with herself? Is she in a state of mental hurricane? Only she has the answer..

Globe Announces 4-day Service Disruption with IT Upgrade

MANILA - Bad news for Globe Telecom Inc subscribers, as the Ayala-led telco on Thursday announced "minimal" service disruptions at the start of next month.

In a letter to subscribers, Globe president Ernest Cu said the disruption, which would happen March 2-5, would be caused by the first phase of the telco's IT modernization.

"As with most upgrades of this scale, we are spending significant effort to minimize any impact on you, so any impact will be small and temporary. During this period, you will still be able to call, text and browse," the letter read.

Among the issues that Globe subscribers would encounter during the four-day period of disruption are the following:

- For Globe postpaid and Tattoo postpaid, subscribers will be unable to register with promos, except for all roaming promos, which will remain available even during the transition period;

- The first bill after migration will be delayed by three weeks, but the payment due dates will be adjusted accordingly;

- The bill will undergo changes depending on the cut-off date and the time Globe completes transition to the new system, with the nature of the changes to be explained as a subscriber receives the notice; and

- For Globe prepaid, Touch Mobile, Tattoo prepaid and Tattoo@Home, the disruption would be "minimal," as subscribers would continue to enjoy the same service levels.

The company will spend $90 million to upgrade its IT system. This would be on top of the $700-million network modernization, which Globe expects to complete next month.

The telco earlier said 90 percent of its network modernization is complete. At end-December, Globe had 33.12 million mobile phone subscribers and 1.3 million broadband subscribers.

Is the boyfriend (BF) of pretty actress (PA) a cheapskate or a shrewd spender? Recently when BF and PA went shopping, they visited a jewelry store. At the store, BF and PA had opposite reactions, BF did not want to go in, but PA thought he was going to surprise her with a present.

Coming from a good family before entering the world of entertainment, PA can splurge as much as she wants. However, BF was quite tentative, or hesitant while they were around the store. Hence, she decided to do the next best thing. PA bought herself a piece of jewelry that she liked so much.

Did BF hesitate because he felt now is the time to maximize his resources on his current and expensive endeavor? Of course, BF also has money himself and he could probably afford to buy PA any piece of jewelry, but then, he would be risking being branded as excessive if he did spend and it got leaked out. Or perhaps, he really is just not ready yet to buy PA anything that could be symbolic of a long-term commitment.

Even if other sectors think that PA is more of a “liability” for him, people still get to notice more of BF because of his relationship with the actress. PA provides him with the extra exposure, and perhaps, showbiz friends who can glamour up his popularity (it’s not as if he needs it, anyway).
