Frankfurt Central Train Station

I woke up with a bad hair day so I stopped by DM (like Watson's in Manila) to buy hair styling wax. I had a difficult time deciding which brand to buy because the store has wide selection of hair products. 

After fixing my hair trouble, we headed to the Frankfurt am Main Hbf (Frankfurt Central Train Station) to inquire about our bus transfer to Hahn Airport for tomorrow. The train station  is located on one end of the hotel where we are staying. This was where we boarded the train to Luxembourg City yesterday.

Inside the train station you can feel already feel the spirit of Easter. Look at this cute Lindt Easter egg kiosk that sells rabbit shaped chocolates. 

This is what you can see outside the train station. This unique office building shaped like a half moon caught my attention so I took a photo to show it to all of you.

Oberwies' Demi Avocat Crevettes

While killing time at Luxembourg city's train station, I chanced up this cafe called Oberweis. I was so intrigued by the presentation of this appetizer so I ordered one for us to taste. According to the server, it is called Demi Avocat Crevettes. It was so hard for me to remember the name that I had to request her to write it down for me. Prices at approximately 350 Php each, it is the cafe's version of shrimp cocktail topped on avocado garnished with caviar and quail egg. After my tita tasted it, she liked it so much that she asked me to order two more for us to bring  back to our hotel in Frankfurt. Tasting something new and different is what I like most about travelling. This is definitely the highlight of our trip to Luxembourg city.

From Frankfurt to Luxembourg City

After four hours and three train rides (Frankfurt - Koblenz - Trier - Luxembourg City) that cost approximately 3,700 Php (one way), we finally arrived in Luxembourg City. This city is one of the most quite cities that I have ever visited. Its population is only less than 500,000.

Arriving at the train station, this life size WC (European term for toilet) sign caught my attention. I don't think anyone needs to ask where the toilet is anymore with this giant signage.

This was the picturesque view that greeted us when we arrived the city center.

Auchan Shopping Mall

This is the biggest shopping mall in the city and the size is smaller than Glorietta 4. The selection of products and brands is is also very limited. This is one of the least interesting shopping malls I have ever visited.

Circular Building

While waiting for our hop on-hop off sightseeing bus, I saw this circular building that I liked so much so I took a photo of it.

With these photos, I think you can tell that there is nothing much exciting to see in this city. Every time I visit Europe I make it a point to visit a city that I have never seen and this is why I included Luxembourg city in my itinerary. If you ask my opinion though, this is one city in Europe that you can skip.

A Pleasant Qatar Flight

We were on board this Qatar flight for our flight from Manila to Doha. The service was impeccable but somehow I prefer the seats of Emirates. 

Lounge Entrance

After a nine hour flight, we were brought to this two story lounge in the Doha International Airport. The interior of this lounge is so chic. It actually looks more like a boutique hotel. Inside the lounge, it has several buffet stations. I thought I was at a party.

The lounge also has a Games Room that will definitely keep your little ones busy while you are waiting for your connecting fight. I enjoyed my stay in the lounge so much that I did not want to board my six hour flight from Doha to Frankfurt. 

Kate Middleton Fires Wedding Gown Designer

With only two weeks left before the royal wedding, Kate Middleton fired one of her fashion designers who is involved in preparing the gowns for the wedding. The details are not yet clear but according to the reports, she is having problems with her designer. I guess it is safe to say that this will end the career of this fashion designer.

Actor Dates Male Model

A few months ago, this actor invited a male model out on a date. The male model initially turned down his invitation  because he is already committed to someone. From time to time, He would receive sweet text messages from the actor mostly during the wee hours of the night. Due to the actor's persistence, the model finally gave in to his invitation.

The dinner date took place in a secluded restaurant in Manila close to the Taft area. The actor arrived in a modest sedan that was driven by his female friend. When they arrived at the restaurant, the actor was wearing a jacket with a hoodie and a pair of glasses to hide his identity. The dinner date turned out well but the model decided to stop entertaining the text messages of the model because he is in love with another man.

Do you know who this actor is? Does this mean that his relationship with his actress girlfriend is just a publicity tool to mask his sexual preference.

AJ Perez Dies in a Vehicular Accident

It has been confirmed that young actor AJ Perez passed away this morning at 12:20am due to multiple head injuries. According to the reports, he just finished a show in Dagupan and on his way back to Manila, the van he was in hit a truck and a bus.

I was saddened to hear this news. My condolences to his parents, family members and loved ones. My good friends P.d.R. and A.C. who are avid fans of AJ are devastated.

After hearing the sad news, I have been searching for the photos of AJ online and I had goosebumps when I came across this creepy photo on www.acephotos.org. Let me share it with you and tell me what you think.

Spotted Making Out in Greenbelt

Last night, some friends and I had dinner in Milky Way Pasay Road. If you have not tried its sinful lechon kawali, I suggest you do so, it is simply the best. After dinner, we walked to Greenbelt for desserts. The area was very busy since it was a payday Friday. We ended up in one of the restaurants in Greenbelt 3.

We always enjoy the view of people passing by the restaurant so we decided to sit outside. While enjoying the mango and strawberry pavlova, one of my friends noticed a hot hunk wearing a white shirt seated beside his date in the corner near the wash rooms. He got even more excited and called our attention when he noticed that the hot hunk was making out with his date. Since he had a better view, he was the one reporting to us that they were doing. They were passionately kissing each other and yes, we had to take turns to witness their long playing public display of affection.

On my way to the washroom, I had to go inside the restaurant. When I passed by their table, I was so shocked when I recognized the girl. I rushed back to our table to tell my friends that the girl is a television personality. They did not believe me and insisted that the girl and the television personality just look alike. We were arguing about it for a while so I had to ask one of the waiters. He confirmed to us that the girl seated inside is indeed the television personality.

I did not know that she already ended her long term relationship with her boyfriend who is also a television personality. I thought the two were getting married soon. I even remember seeing them shopping together in Hong Kong's Pacific Place Mall a couple of years ago.

Do you know who this television personality is? Her kissing scenes with her hot date were just too frequent that my friend M. L. was able to take some photos using his I-phone. Please take a good look at the photos and tell me her identity.
