Smart Decision

Usually, parents often think of the future of their children and hope that they will bestow on them whatever they will leave when they die. However, some parents think differently and believe the kids should be self-sufficient on their own.

A Veteran Actress (VA) has bravely declared her children will not inherit anything she has worked for. Before people judge VA for her vow, she has a logical reason for her decision. Since VA entered showbiz, she has an image of being an independent woman. While her contemporaries worked on lead roles, VA was assigned the other essential roles, such as the villain or the proverbial best friend.

As time passed, VA was able to invest in properties and businesses. The good thing about her investment is that she’s hands-on. Her ventures are also her interests and thus, things fell into place, like enjoying the best of both worlds. While the ordinary onlooker can only marvel at what VA has done with admiration, VA has an entirely different viewpoint on who will take care of her assets when she passes. Usually, the children are expected to partake of the elders’ wealth. VA is not the typical parent. As early as now, VA has been vocal that she will not be leaving anything to them.

VA said her decision is to strengthen the resolve of her kids to make something for themselves rather than rely on their parents. Instead of fostering dependence and laziness, VA is teaching her kids to be hardworking. Whereas, most will not agree with her, others will find wisdom in what she’s teaching. Actions, Not Words

Sometime ago, Young Actress (YA) denied whatever meaning netizens placed on her sweet gesture for Dashing Boy (DB). Netizens assumed that YA and DB have something going on. DB was flattered, of course.Although both can be deemed showbiz scions, their paths took different routes. YA was already in the limelight at a very young age, but DB was introduced into showbiz when he was in his teens. Their parents are both good-looking and have established careers. They are still active.

While the parents of DB have allowed his independence, YA’s parents are quietly still monitoring her moves. Even having achieved much locally and internationally, DB still has much to do to become as popular as his parent. The came goes for YA as her parents are quite accomplished and she needs to get out their shadow.

While YA and DB chose not to divulge anything, nothing escapes the sharp eyes of netizens. The two were allegedly spotted holding hands while in a play about the power of love. The play is romantic and the two can always say they were carried away. Ehem.

What could be preventing the two from admitting they are together? Even if DB seems to look more mature than YA, the age gap isn’t that too far. They do not have current relationships or exes who will throw tantrums at being left behind. Fans might even be nonchalant. As for their parents, both sides have worked together and no bad blood has even been an issue. Nonetheless, YA is the only female child and that might be hard to let go.
