Its sad when the standards are clearly mediocre kung sa Asian Universities ndi man lang naka top 10 ni isa sa mga University natin. How good is it actually???
Coming from a family with ties to HR , top tier schools are a factor in hiring because of prestige, their graduates are more assertive and more prepared. Connections/ red tape/ nepotism, even HR can’t touch you if you know the right connections because HR still reports to their bosses and colleagues. The rest of you got your job because of merit, past work experiences, good grades etc. so congratulations!

Maybe because of being too casual in its environment. Proctor n Gamble is an Ateneo country while San Miguel used to a La Salle country. But nowadays, even in the US, companies are now more concerned about the attitude of its applicants/employees.
