This is gross negligence!

    1. They could’ve, would’ve, should’ve done water team building in a controlled location, a diving swimming pool. Stupid as stupid does. May they RIP.

  3. Kung anak ng mayaman ang mga namatay, Ateneo would have responded differently.

  4. Mukhang kanya kanyang save nalang sa teammates nila! Where was the coach here? Where are the lifeguards, medics?

  7. maybe the death of one person can be ruled out asaccidental but the death of two people from the same activity under similar circumstances sounds suspicious. something went wrong and someone should be held accountable for what happened.

  8. Everyone, and I mean everyone, in the coaching team needs to go STRAIGHT TO JAIL

Pacific ocean malapit. Walang life vest, life guard. Buti pa yung nagrerescue may life vest. Those two victims were put in a very dangerous position. Kaya nga namatay eh. KAWAWA talaga. Tapos Ateneo eh walang nagsasalita. Walang mukhang maiharap sa public. It's been two days and Ateneo seems to try to just put in under the rug. In short, aksidente Yan, dedma kami. Uyuy!Ateneo and their coaches are accountable there. There has to be JUSTICE because of their negligence.

    1. Rescuers SHOULD have life vest. How can you rescue if you are drowning yourself? Stop watching too much Baywatch.

  15. Kahit walang pabigat pa yan the fact remains DELIKADO ang lugar na kanilang pinag trainingan. Walang pang mga life vest.

  16. What a senseless tragedy. Two young lives with such a whole life ahead of them were cut short.

  18. Ang lakas ng hampas ng alon

  19. Nakakaawa. Nakakalungkot. Sobrang sakit nito para sa pamilya nila.

  20. Anak yan ng magulang nila! Hinihintay nila yan umuwi

  21. Okay walang foul play.
    But may kapabayaan.

How much more for activity like training.

Lahat ng babala ref flags nanjan na... and yet the coach and staff went ahead. YUN ANG NEGLIGENCE.

All they could do was to be present, harapin consequences.

Dapat si Coach tab, kasama ng two bodies sa ambulance, to the hospital, up until sa pagdala sa funeral parlor

Ateneo management should have informed the family about sa nangyari, kahit wala pang details FIRSTHAND. bago sila mag post ng formal statements at makipag coordinate sa kung sinu sinong mouthpiece. (hinfi yung da social media pa nalaman ng gamily, and nobody reached out or bothered to call them)

Dapat Ateneo management went out of their way to make sure the families have been logustically assisted para mareunite with the bodies (hinfi yung LGU pa ang nag assist)

LASTLY, wag gawing shield ng ateneo through their mouthpieces (na di namin kailangan ang opinion or statement)... ang "do not dhale ateneo up for details, let the tram, school and community grieve"

wala kayo karapatan mag grieve, kung ang family ng mismong nasawi ay left in the dark and clueless

ang pamilya ng nasawi ang may pinaka karapatan mag grieve, and the only way to lighten their grief, is to face them, attend to them, and be truthful to them
